QuoteBolt (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is an AI-powered proposal tool for trade contractors, operated at quotebolt.io. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

We collect information you provide directly to us:

• Account information: Your phone number (for OTP login) or Google account information (for Google OAuth), including your name and email address.
• Business information: Company name, trade type, logo, license number, and insurance status.
• Client and proposal data: Client names, contact information, addresses, job details, photos, and proposal content you create using QuoteBolt.
• Payment information: We use Stripe to process payments. We do not store your full payment card details — Stripe handles this securely on our behalf.

We also collect limited usage data (page views, feature usage) to improve the product.

• To provide, maintain, and improve the QuoteBolt service
• To generate AI-powered proposals using the job details and photos you provide
• To send proposal-related SMS and email notifications to you and your clients (via Twilio and Resend)
• To process payments through Stripe Connect on your behalf
• To send you product updates and trial/subscription communications
• To comply with legal obligations

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We use this information solely to create and manage your QuoteBolt account. We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, or any other Google services beyond basic profile information.

You can revoke QuoteBolt's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account settings.

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only with:

• Stripe: For payment processing and contractor payouts
• Supabase: For secure data storage and authentication
• Twilio: For SMS delivery (OTP codes and proposal notifications)
• Resend: For email delivery (proposals and account emails)
• Anthropic: Job details and notes are sent to Claude AI to generate proposal content
• Docuseal: For e-signature processing on proposals

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Signed proposals are retained indefinitely as legal records. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us, except where retention is required by law or to maintain signed contract records.

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, row-level security on our database, and secure authentication via Supabase. No system is 100% secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Export your proposal and client data
